This tutorial will teach some of Microsoft 365 applications, formerly Office 365. Specifically, we will teach in different tutorials OneDrive, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. We are focusing on Office 365 applications because of the numerous benefits of cloud computing for individuals and businesses.
Cloud computing has a lot of broad benefits. When we look at these benefits we may get confused, and not understand its usefulness. But when we streamline the benefits to different sectors, we easily understand how it has helped us today. For example;
- Cloud computing helps a corporate organization to save IT costs in terms of staff and infrastructure.
- A small business may need it to minimize the cost of software purchases and updates.
- Similarly, as a student, you will need it to save files in a central location, which is accessible with any device. Thus, you will not be carrying storage devices everywhere you go. You will also not infect your files and computer with viruses and worms.
This is not a cloud computing tutorial, but we are using Microsoft 365 online apps, which is cloud-based.
But if you have any of Office 2013, 2016, and 2019 installed on your computer, you can follow this training. If you do not, connect with Office 365 online applications for the completion of the training. In office online, data is primarily stored in OneDrive, hence, our training begins with OneDrive. OneDrive provides the same storage service like Google Drive, Yandex Disk, Amazon Drive, and Dropbox.
